Teracom selects AXXESSIT to improve access network

Teracom, Sweden’s largest TV and radio operator has announced that it will be deploying AXXESSIT equipment and solutions to improve its access network infrastructure over the next five years. The framework agreement has been signed with AXXESSIT’s partner in Sweden, Viking Telecom.

The AXXESSIT solution is based on AXXEDGE and AXX155E, which will provide Teracom with the opportunity to fully utilise existing capacity in their core SDH network. The application required flexibility and the ability to easily configure Ethernet bandwidth in 2Mbit/s steps prepared for SDH. Both E-LINE (point-to-point) and E-LAN (multipoint) services will be provided.
